Hostels ( such as 10 (annex), 13, 16, 17 and 18 ) have been constructed bassed on the accessibility guidelines.

Currently IIT Bombay has Electric Buggy services for all the students with hostels on main road. However, we are working on enhancing accessibility of the commute for PwD Students.

Library at IITB has over 7000 books in braille and accessible formats. You can contact library in order to get them or if you want to access you can contact liberarian at IITB library.

IITB PwD Students Cell and Placement Cell have been making efforts to provide employment opportuinities for students with disabilities. The same will be displayed in Placement Cell Portal. Necessary arrangements/ accommodations required would be made on prior request.

There are various tools & softwares listed in the resources sections of this website. There are lot of free tools which you can go through them and try them. However, PwD Student Cell would assist you further on case to case basis if needed.

You can contact admission office you have been alloted admission directly if you have confirmed your admission, they will assist you with the further process. If the issue persists you can contact PwD Student Cell for further help.
